Can I take a class in lieu of a Praxis or CBEST assessment?

No, though the state may accept a class in lieu of an assessment, the CCSD ARL program requires passing scores on the  (insert assessments) for admittance into ARL.

Can I still apply if I do not have my score report?

You may apply, but incomplete applications will not receive consideration for ARL acceptance.

Can my testing be waived if I have a degree in the specific area?

Unfortunately, passing scores are required for Praxis Core and Praxis Subject Assessment- secondary only. We do not waive testing. Testing must be completed and a score report uploaded to the application prior to the application deadline.

Can the Praxis assessment requirement be waived if I have a Master's degree?

If I am a long term substitute, do I still need to complete field experience?

If you have a long term substitute position during the ARL program, you may be eligible to waive some of the field experience days. This decision is made on a case by case basis and you will need to contact an ARL Coordinator for approval.
