CCSD Students and Teachers to Showcase Talent at a Tribute to the Arts Concert Series

A Tribute to the Arts Concert Series will present its annual Holiday Extravaganza concert on Nov. 29, at 6:30 p.m., in The Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall. The concert series is a partnership among Clark County School District, The Smith Center and The Public Education Foundation.

Holiday Extravaganza showcases the considerable talent found in CCSD while expressing the joy of the season. More than 300 student musicians, representing over 40 schools, will perform alongside teachers and professional musicians in a world-class venue.

In addition, visual artists from elementary, middle and high schools will have their work on display in The Smith Center’s Grand Lobby prior to the concert, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Since this concert series began in 2012, nearly 1,600 students have performed during these events at The Smith Center. Proceeds from concert ticket sales are used to support arts programs in public schools and the Artists 4 Kidz program, an initiative of The Public Education Foundation.

A limited number of tickets are still available, starting at $12. Contact The Public Education Foundation at (702) 799-1042 for more information about purchasing tickets.

The holiday concert is made possible through funding from Dennis and Carol Troesh; additional financial support is provided by Macy’s, Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
