New teachers meeting the criteria of SB511 must be teaching by August 31, 2015, in order to receive the full hiring incentive of up to $5,000. Those who start teaching after today will earn a pro-rated amount.
While we are accepting applications for all positions, the following positions are designated as high-need areas:
- Elementary, grades K-5
- Secondary English, mathematics, and science, grades 6-12
- Special education, grades K-12
- Specialists/Related Services (Occupational/Physical Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, School Nurses, School Psychologists, Social Workers)
